Right this minute I am at one of the new CoWorking sites in Columbus. It’s called Qwirk and it’s located at 595 1/2 South Third Street in German Village. The space is just above G Micheal’s restaurant. Qwirk is hosting today’s Jelly Columbus.
Co-Work space is for people who either work from home, and need to get out sometimes and work around other people or people who just need a desk or small office space for a short time. You can rent an office for the day, week, month or even a couple of hours.
Here at Qwirk, I was given a brief tour of the space when I came in and updated on all the little “extras” that come with renting the space. For instance, Free WiFi access, lockers, use of the printer, copy and fax machines. The office spaces also have ethernet hook ups as well.
Today until 4PM, Qwirk is free and they have a few light refreshments for anyone who feels the need to nosh. Please feel free to come by and check the space out. Oh, and you will get to meet me. (@merrycricket) I don’t have my balloon hat on though.
Next week on Friday, is Jelly day at Sandbox, the other new Co-Work space that just opened. It’s in the short North, at 11 Price Avenue directly behind Rossi. Sandbox will be open from 9am to 5pm for Jelly Columbus. I am planning on being there. Not sure yet during what hours. You’ll have to follow me and find out.

Nice post Mary – I am so excited about the Jelly Columbus Days! The Jelly Columbus links are in this post http://thecentralohionetwork.com/blog/?p=632
