The new year brings opportunities for casual coworking in Central Ohio with the launch of Jelly Columbus!
What is Jelly?
Jelly is casual coworking. We invite people to work from a public meeting spot for the day. We provide chairs, tables, wireless internet, and interesting people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off of. You bring a laptop (or whatever you need to get work done) and a friendly disposition. Read all about it www.workatjelly.com. (About the name…rumor has it the founders were eating Jelly Beans when they got the idea).
Jelly Columbus Schedule: The first jelly is
Thursday, January 15, 2009; 9 am to 5pm;
Columbus Metropolitan Library, 3rd Floor Boardroom (map)
96 S. Grant Ave.; Columbus, OH 43215 ;
Parking Garage $1/Hr or max $6 all day;
RSVP on the wiki or at Columbus Techlife meetups
(organized by @sblanquera and @jodyNcolumbus)
The event will take place from 9:00-5:00 giving you opportunities for both individual or collaborative work time, like study hall for adults (except it is OK to talk!) Wi-fi is available with your library card. (another great reason to get a library card if you don’t already have one). Just drop in or stay all day, but either way could you RSVP?
Jelly Columbus got it’s start at co/elaborate08 on December 18 and we owe a big thank you to Bryce Glass @soldierant for telling us about Jelly groups.
