Urgent Help Needed for Common Ground Free Store
The Common Ground Free Store located in the City of Delaware is a store that gives clothing and household items to families in need free of charge. They also provide a meal to families as they wait to shop. There are no income requirements to receive services from the Common Ground Free Store. They serve hundreds of families each year who depend on their services to survive.
They are in great need of volunteers and cannot have the store open unless there are an adequate number of volunteers to staff it. It takes 10 volunteers to run the store each time they are open. Volunteers help with greeting and registering the customers, assist them with shopping, sort donations, help with preparing and serving the meal. There is also a group of volunteers needed after the store closes to restock the shelves and clean the store for the next time they are open.

Their hours are Monday and Saturday 10am – 1pm, Thursday 3-6pm.
Please consider signing up and bring your friend, family, or group to make a difference to families in our community. Listed below are their needs for January (this Thursday has time open for the 6-8pm only now).
